GENERAL PROGRAM REGISTRATION INFORMATION

FACILITIES, DAYS & TIMES |
| Due to construction for the new Lake Bluff Elementary School, NVA will not be using Central School as our primary fall sports league location. Despite this slight set-back, we have always maintained field and gym rental relationionships with both Lake Forest Country Day School and Lake Forest College. |
|
|
|
 |
During this first year of transition, we will request your patience and understanding, that we will not be able to provide EXACT start and finish times. We will be working around each of these school's sport's teams, which ultimately means later start times (5:00 PM rather than 4:00 PM) and the use of more Sunday afternoons.
Specific locations and directions will be available when the pre season schedule is released.
Just as in the past, start times for games & practices rotate, so there is no set time for games. Kids will still meet an average of two times per week. Sometimes it may be a little less and sometimes a little more.
Register your child for our leagues knowing that despite printing days and times of potential games and practices, we are sometimes "bumped" due to school events, or need to reschedule due to bad weather. Sundays will need to be used more than in the past in order to finish the schedule by the end of October. |

START & FINISH DATES |
COMBINE & MEASUREMENTS: SUN. AUG 31ST & MON SEPT 1ST.
Practices Start Tuesday, September 2nd, 2008. The exact finish date depends on the number of teams which fluctuates year-to-year. League levels for children 2nd grade and younger should expect to wrap up sometime around the 3rd week in October. Levels for 3rd grade and above usually wrap up the final week of October/ early November due to tournaments, skills competition and all star games which cause the older kid's seasons to run longer. |
