BASKETBALL PROGRAM INFORMATION 2007 -2008
	FACILITIES
	NVA will use gym space at both Central School in Lake Bluff and Lake Forest Country Day School
	in Lake Forest. Central School Gym will be the primary location with LFCDS used occasionally.
	DAYS AND TIMES
	Kids will meet on an average of two times per week. Sometimes it may be a little less and sometimes
	a little more. Register your child for this league knowing that despite printing days and times of potential
	games and practices, we are sometimes "bumped" due to school plays, concerts, family fun nights,
	fund raising events, etc. that are also held in the gyms we utilize.
	Start times for games rotate, so there is no set time for games. If a league is listed to play between
	4:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M., you should be aware that a game or practice may be scheduled anytime between
	these hours for the day listed.
	START & FINISH DATES
	Kindergarten, 1st Grade Boys League, 2nd Grade Boys League 1st & 2nd Grade Girls League and 3rd & 4th Grade Girls
	League begin the first Monday after Thanksgiving (November 26th) and run through late February. The
	exact finish date varies year to year because it depends on the number of teams. But for rough planning
	purposes it's always been around the 15th to 20th of February.
	3rd Grade Boys League, 4th & 5th Grade Boys League, 6th, 7th & 8th Grade Boys Leaguea and 5th, 6th & 7th Grade Girls
	League s all begin the first week in January (after winter vacation break) and wrap up after spring break in April
	UNIFORMS
	The program begins with six preseason practices.  Kids may wear any practice clothing for these sessions.
	Game uniforms will be issued after the preseason practices end when the team rosters and game
	schedules are released. All uniforms need to be returned at the end of the season.
	REGISTRATION DUE DATES **
	Registration is a first come, first serve. Maximum number of participants for each league is listed next to the
	league description. (see below for more info)
	Some levels close faster than others. Others may remain open up to the start of the program. Levels which are closed
	will be updated on both our website and on the NVA hotline (mailbox 1) on a weekly basis.

Payment should accompany the registration along with a SEPARATE uniform deposit check or credit card information.
Uniform deposit checks are not cashed. - Checks will be torn up upon return of all items at the end of the season.
PAYMENT METHOD
Payment can be made by Check or Credit Card
Payment can be made in full or in 3 monthly installments. If paying by installment please include the 1st payment along with your registration.
Two payment vouchers with due dates and amounts will be mailed to you roughly a month after we begin the season.
If paying by installment by credit card, we will automatically debit the card three times over a three-month time period during the season.
REFUND POLICY
1) If a child drops anytime prior to the program start date, A FULL refund will be issued.
2) If a child drops within the first week of a program start date, ….Program fee minus $100 administrative./processing fee will be refunded
3) If a child drops anytime AFTER the first week of the start date of a program, ….NO REFUND WILL BE ISSUED
Note: Partial refunds MAY be available after the first week of the start of a program if there is a child on a
wait list that we can fill the spot with. Call the office for details.
All drops MUST be made via written request by either FAX or by MAIL
