2008 BASEBALL PROGRAM INFORMATION

FACILITIES
NVA will use field space at both Lake Forest College and Lake Forest Country Day School for our baseball program. Spring training instructional practices in May will be held at the College. We will than switch to Lake Forest Country Day School for league games in June & July.

  DAYS AND TIMES
Kids will meet an average of two times per week. Sometimes it may be a little less and sometimes a little more. Register your child for our leagues knowing that despite printing days and times of potential games and practices, we are sometimes "bumped" due to school events, or need to re-schedule due to bad weather. (Sundays are ONLY used for rainout situations)

Start times for games rotate, so there is no set time for games. If a league is listed to play between 4:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M., you should be aware that a game or practice may be scheduled anytime between these hours for the day listed.

START & FINISH DATES

The NVA Baseball program will begin on Monday, May 5th.
The exact finish date depends on the number of teams which fluctuates year-to-year.
League levels for children 2nd grade and younger usually
end a week earlier than older levels in mid-July. Older league levels, which play a post-season tournaments or have all star game events usually run until the third or even last week of July

  UNIFORMS
Kids may wear any practice clothing to the six preseason practices. Uniforms will be issued after the preseason practices end and when the team rosters and game schedules are released. All uniforms need to be returned at the end of the season.
